Outlets at Hillsboro and the Hillsboro Police Department have for many years welcomed costumed youngsters to the center to trick-or-treat between 4 PM and 8 PM on Halloween. Various outlet stores – along with HPD and this office – participate by handing out treats to visiting youngsters. Most do so by having one or more representatives positioned in front of their store or just inside their door.

This year, for the first time, Outlets at Hillsboro would like to extend an invitation to non-competing fellow members of the Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce to join us for free for this year’s annual event. By non-competing, we mean any member that is NOT a retail business. Therefore, for example, financial institutions, service companies, non-profit organizations, auto dealerships, food services and restaurants, healthcare organizations, educational institutions, etc. would be welcome to join us.
However, there are a limited number of locations for Chamber members to set-up this Halloween. Outlets at Hillsboro will be the sole determinant of which applicants are chosen to be part of our festivities.

If you’re interested in being considered for one of our limited trick-or-treat sidewalk locations, please fill out the attached application (which also contains our rules & regulations) and submit it via email to Barbara Clevenger, Administrative Assistant, by the date indicated. This office will respond to you shortly thereafter so you can execute/submit our Event License Agreement and submit the required Certificate of Insurance in the time required to assure your free participation.

You may also email Barbara Clevenger, Administrative Assistant, with any questions. Her contact email address is bclevenger@outletsathillsboro.com.

We appreciate your consideration of joining us for this community event and look forward to hearing from you.
