Comprehensive Plan Meeting for Hillsboro Texas Land Use Fiscal Analysis set for June 26th 6-9 pm at City Hall

Hillsboro, Texas

The City of Hillsboro’s next public presentation on the city’s comprehensive plan is set for 6:00 p.m. Thursday, June 26 from 6-9 pm, at Historic City Hall – 127 E Elm Street.

Planning firm Verdunity will share key results from a land use fiscal analysis to explain the fiscal performance of current development and discuss ways the city can guide future development to close resource and affordability gaps.

The city is working with Verdunity to develop a new comprehensive plan to help Hillsboro develop in a responsible way that funds current and future infrastructure needs while preserving the community’s values and improving quality of life.

The second public survey related to the process is now available online. The “Vision, Values, and Priority Outcomes Survey” will allow citizens to help guide future decisions for development and growth management, mobility and connectivity, and community facilities’ maintenance and resources.
