November is a great time to get those Parade Float Plans Ready- The Hillsboro Christmas Parade & Tree Lighting is Saturday, December 6th

The downtown Hillsboro Christmas Parade falls on the first Saturday of each December and businesses, churches, nonprofits, horse groups, marching bands and tractors are making their plan and submitting their registration forms.
It’s a great team building project, and the event is a great way for businesses to “show off their stuff” to the locals and other businesses in the large annual parade that brings 5K+ spectators to downtown Hillsboro.
Important Info:
- Elements of light are required for all parade entries, due to the sundown start time of the parade, and to keep spectators, which include children safe at the event.
- Registrations and signed waivers are required.
- The only entry fee is to bring an unwrapped gift or toy for children to the Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce, or to the offices of KHBR AM 1560 Radio / The Reporter Newspaper.
