Here is a quick round up of the big things you need to know as we enter November, starting with an event happening Friday morning November 7th 2024.

There is a reception and ribbon cutting at the new Wallace Galloway Trail Phase I – this Friday at 11:30 am. The project is a walking trail and gathering place for the entire community, generously funded by the Hill College Foundation.

The location to meet is 1800 Corsicana Highway at 11:30 am sharp, but please arrive early and meet and greet with college, business, and community representatives, and stay for the reception.

The November and December calendar is getting added to daily.

Big Events Coming Up Include:

Veterans Day Events on November 11th and 12th

The “Par for Prom” 2nd Annual Golf Tournament scheduled for Saturday November 23rd

Thanksgiving Day is Thursday, November 28th

The Hillsboro City Library Annual Gala is on Friday, December 6th

The Hillsboro Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting is scheduled for Saturday December 7th

The Hillsboro Arts League will host an art market from 3-6 pm on the same day as the Hillsboro Christmas Parade

The Hillsboro Farmers Market Christmas market returns to the courthouse square on Saturday, December 14th

Whitney will host their Christmas Parade and festivities on Saturday, December 14th

The Hillsboro Heritage League’s Dueling Pianos Deck the Halls Christmas Party is on Thursday, December 19th

Christmas falls on a Wednesday this year….

Hillsboro Country Club is hosting a New Year’s Party with a lively band and potluck gathering on December 31st.
