Giving with Purpose
The Hillsboro Foundation is a 501c3 formed with articles of incorporation in 1989, and endures to provide support for projects with impact in Hillsboro, Texas.
The foundation is governed by volunteer a Board of Directors, and works with zero overhead costs. The Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce board of directors provides oversight of the foundation, with accounting and tax compliance annual adits.
Past projects and initiatives supported and funded by the Foundation are an ADA park playground project at City Park in Hillsboro, Texas, and other downtown beautifucation and placemaking projects in the Hillsboro Main Street district.
