We would love for you to join us and want to make sure you are aware of our low annual rates for members.
$60 a year for nonprofits or individuals and families
$200 a year for small businesses with 1-5 employees
$240 a year for businesses with 6-20 employees
$350 a year for 21-50 employees
$500 a year for 51-150 employees
*Any annual supporter of the Chamber with membership, events, or donation in a one-year period at or exceeding $1,000 is granted a partner supporter banner ad on the Chamber website front page.

We Strengthen Business, Community, Local Economy & Tourism Spending in our Area

Here's more info about what we do, and why we do it.
  • Our online member business directory gets an average of 3,000-5,000 searches per month. Both long term and new residents throughout Hill County find our businesses (and your business) online.  Our online tools have powerful technology that help people find your business and events, and also strengthen the seo of your website with our links to it.
  • Our online community calendar helps locals see local events all in one place, so everyone can enjoy what our area has to offer.  Our calendar also shows up when people merely search google "Hillsboro events".  The popularity of the calendar also leads people to search our business directory and other information, helping them find YOU.
  • We have an online jobs board that helps our local employers market their open positions to both current and prospective residents, and keeps their business running with capable employees.
  • Our social media outreach with the Chamber and our Explore Hillsboro Facebook pages reach 10k followers, with posts about events, businesses and opportunities to get involved.  We also run two websites:  www.hillsborochamber.org and www.explorehillsborotexas.com that increase the image and engagement with our area.
  • We go to City Council meetings, and are on numerous committees to advocate and collaborate on projects and initiatives that are growing, connecting and making positive changes in our city and area.
  • We are a main contact, and often the first contact for new and current residents, businesses, and visitors.  Our phones are continually busy with general questions from citizens, visitors and people trying to find services or information about Hillsboro.   Our office is the MKT railroad depot and visitor center located in downtown Hillsboro behind the post office, and we are open to the public, and take after-hours phone calls and emails to provide an information hub and a "welcome mat" to the public.
  • Events - We curate specific Chamber events but also partner with others to find meaningful ways to network, learn, brainstorm, promote and connect people.  We also help plan and book bands for the Summer Concert Series, and help support other city events, festivals and business events and initiatives in the Hillsboro area.

Biannually, we arrange and host Hill County Day in Austin - March 19th 2025

We have started a quarterly luncheon and panel discussion with local leaders. The next one is scheduled for May 2025
A monthly Lone Star Lunch Bunch monthly business lunch come and go meetup at Lone Star Cafe (coming soon)
Quarterly community coffees at Overflow Coffee and Cafe. The next one is scheduled for April 2025
We also partner with others on their events and promotion
Ribbon cuttings, open houses, meet and greets, pop up gatherings, pancake breakfasts and the like- we love connecting and helping promote others!
We do send out a newsletter periodically that reaches 2500 local businesses and community members.  By doing this, we seek to inform and inspire a greater awareness of local businesses, resources, news, events, and ways to connect and support our growing city.
