The Chamber Board of Directors annually provides it’s general membership the chance to approve or nominate candidates to serve in leadership on the Chamber Board. The link to participate in this brief annual process is available here. The Chamber Board meets each third Thursday of the Month at noon at the Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce, located at 115 North Covington in Hillsboro, Texas. Board positions generally last three years, and may continue one additional three year term, if elected. The Chamber Board is governed by bylaws, and has been active since it’s inception in 1922. Please DO review and give your brief input at the nomination link highlighted above.
The Chamber Annual Dinner and Awards Show is set for Thursday night, October 17th 2024 from 6-8 pm.. We ask that members, businesses, individuals and stakeholders in our area participate in voting for the award winners in each of the categories:
Regional Business of the Year
Local Business of the Year
Farm Family of the Year
Citizen of the Year
and the Chamber Hall of Fame inductee
This is your opportunity to help recognize amazing local companies and individuals that are doing great work in our area, and your vote counts! The voting platform will close on Monday, September 30th 2024.

This week we will be on site and helping host the business-after-hours “open house” event at Siddons Realty and Hill County Insurance.
There is only one more opening on our schedule this year, to help host or cohost your business open house, promo, or educational event. If your company is interested in the Chamber helping to plan and fund your event, please contact us before the end of September 2024.
Get ideas, and experience the Business-After-Hours this Thursday evening from 5-7 pm, and let’s plan your event. Here’s a look at this week’s calendar:

Add your events at this link. Trying to come up with a date for an event you are planning? Please review our calendar to make sure your proposed date doesn’t conflict with another major event. Our calendar goes through the end of 2024 and beyond, and adding your event early can deter other major events from being scheduled on the same date or time.

The Hillsboro Chamber Annual Dinner and Awards Show will take place on Thursday, October 17th 2024 from 6-8 pm in Hillsboro, Texas. The location will be the Hill County Fairgrounds Exhibits Building at 205 Stadium Drive, and the night will include a catered seated dinner, addresses from city, county and state leaders, and the awards program.

Everyone is invited to enjoy networking, drinks, updates by leaders, an italiano fare seated dinner, and the awards show announcements and acceptance speeches in a business casual atmosphere that celebrates everything LOCAL.
