It’s time…. School’s out, and Hillsboro and surrounding cities are planning fun things for kids (and great breaks for moms) around our city and county.

BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB OF HILL COUNTY
June 2nd to July 30th Monday through Friday Summer Session Hours are 7:30-5:30
Boy’s and Girls Club Summer Registration and Info CALL 254-205-2046 if you need more information about the summer program.

HILLSBORO CITY LIBRARY
Our library has the busiest summer schedule we’ve seen in years – starting with a kickoff carnival Thursday May 29th 2025 at Historic City Hall from 10 am to 2 pm. City Hall is located at 127 East Franklin Street in downtown Hillsboro Texas. The best place to get all the info on summer programs is on the Hillsboro City Library Website Calendar.

HILL COLLEGE KIDS COLLEGE
The Hillsboro campus of Hill College is having Hill College Kids College June 26th through 29th 2025, with registration due by June 8th. Please register early as space fills up quickly. HILLSBORO COUNTRY CLUB JR GOLF ACADEMY
Dates:  June 5th, June 6th, June 12th and June 13th The classes will be limited to the first 18 registered kids.   The Jr. Golf Academy for kids, 7-18 years old, regardless of skill level. The Jr. Golf Academy is open to members and non-members. This year the classes will be 4 mini-clinics, each of which will be 3 hours long from 8:30am – 11:30am. This program will provide instruction on: the rules, etiquette, full swing, short game, and on course play. Students will receive instruction from the Heart of Texas Golf Academy’s Jon Antunes, Director of Junior Golf Instruction and his staff. June 2-6 Central Baptist Church Vacation Bible School 9 am to noon
June 2-6 Risen Church Vacation Bible School 6pm to 8:30 pm
June 2-5 Heights Church Vacation Bible School 5:30 to 8:30 pm
June 9-13 Christ Lutheran Vacation Bible School 6pm to 7:30 pm
June 23-27 First Baptist Church Vacation Bible School 9 am to noon
June 27-29 Vision Church Vacation Bible School 9 am to 1:30 pm
July 27-29 First Methodist Church Vacation Bible School 5:30 to 8:30 pm

Cool off at FunZone this summer. Located in downtown Hillsboro, you can find an arcade, refreshments, air conditioned play, and VR for adults, plus be on the lookout for special events, or book your party with them. An Indoor entertainment center filled with bounce houses, mini climbing wall, arcade games, crane machines, Virtual Reality games, and more! Entry is $5 for all ages – and fun for adults because we know you’ll have fun playing the games too!
