The Bond’s Alley Art Festival and the Hill County Cell Block Museum reopening Saturday, June 14th, plus plus!

Hill County Cell Block Museum Reopening – Saturday June 14th at 10 am (open through 4 pm)
The Bond’s Alley Art Festival in downtown Hillsboro is celebrating it’s 60th anniversary with the return of artists, musicians and artisans on Saturday June 14th from 9 am to 2 pm in Bond’s Alley and surrounding the full block. Bond’s Alley is looking South from the Hill County Courthouse, and between Overflow Coffee and 58th Shop.
Also on this weekend, the Hill County Cell Block Museum will reopen with a short ceremony at 10:00 am, with the museum staying open until 4 pm. The museum reopening is Saturday June 14th, after being closed for structural and other repairs and exhibit redesign. The museum will continue to be open during these hours each subsequent Saturday. The public is invited to attend the museum reopening ceremony.
Also on June 14th is the Hillsboro Farmers Market from 8 am to 1 pm and the Free Outdoor Concert at The Yard from 8-11 pm. The Saturday night concert features The Morticians – a large eclectic band that also plays our annual Fire and Ice dinner and dance.



June 13th – 6pm – This year’s Bond’s Alley Kickoff will be a night painted in string lights, laughter, accompanied by the soft hum of summer.
